This is the second of periodic emails explaining
what is currently happening with the Orlando Runners
Club as well as running news, social events, races
and 'happenings' in Florida. Please forward this on
to anyone that you think would be interested in the
Orlando Runners Club.
Again, since this is a whole new way for the
Orlando Runners Club to get you current running news
and information your feedback is greatly

End Of Season 2005 Banquet |

The 'End Of Season 2005 Banquet'
will take place on Saturday night July
30th, from 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM at the
Elk's Lodge located at 12 N. Primrose
Orlando, FL. 32803.
This year there will be a buffet with the
following:
- Chicken, Beef & Pasta
- Dinner Salad, Rolls with Butter,
Vegetables
- Assorted Deserts
- Coffee & Tea with Dinner
- Cocktail Hour: Glass Of Beer or Wine
Ticket price $30 for 1 or $50 for 2.
Order Now! Price after July 20th or at
the door is $35 for 1 and $60 for 2.

ORC Challenge Results Are In! |

The results are in for the 2004-2005 ORC
Challenge. Please review your points and let
us at the ORC know if you see a conflict.
Remember you get the following:
- 5 points for volunteering for a
race, 2 races max.
- 10 additional points for
volunteering for the Outback.
- You must have run 3 races to receive
an award.

'Special Election' To Be Held July 7th
at 7:30 PM!

Due to the ORC picnic being rescheduled to a
later date because of the weather there will
be a 'Special Election' on
Thursday evening July 7th at 7:30 PM to
elect the 2005 - 2006 officers and board.
If you are interested in being an officer
or serving on the board please come out on
Thursday; July 7th. If you cannot make the
'special election' please contact current
President Dave Virtus at the link below.
The election will take place at The
Roadhouse Grill located at 2881 S.
Orange Ave (just south of Michigan). Please
