Rules

The rules are simple.  All members are automatically entered and scored.

  • Must be a current member of the ORC.
  • Run at least three of the 10 races.
  • Points are awarded based on how you finish in your age group among other ORC members.  Points are awarded 10 deep in each age group.
  • Points are awarded for volunteering at Track Shack events and the Habitat race, up to a maximum of 20 points.  Volunteers get 5 points per race, 10 points for the Outback Distance Classic.  (If you volunteer, you must let the ORC volunteer coordinator know and check in at the ORC tent prior to the race.

Race to Win

The ORC is announcing a new club competition with the Race to Win.  This new program rewards runners not for finishing first, just for finishing.  Anyone can win, whether you are first or last, as long as you are an ORC member and make it to the finish line.  Each mile of racing earns a point, and at the end of the year we will recognize runners with the most points.  For full details, click hereFor questions or to report a race, email Seth.
